I love storms. That flash like a camara strobe that lights my little corner of the world. Counting the seconds until the rumble of thunder starts rolling in. Calculating just how far away the center of the storm is. Waiting and wondering just how intense this storm will be. It’s really quite delicious.
Once the storm passes, the steady rhythm of the rain lulls me into such a relaxed state. It’s perfect for curling up with a good book or taking a nap. Its such a wonder how nature can awaken all our senses. What a beautiful world it would be if more people would slow down and take the time to feel what they are missing! The storm is moving on now; time for me to grab my book. I hope you all take a minute to enjoy a storm.
