Its only right that I lead off with Black Smoke Coffee in Orchard Hill, Georgia. This is my home base; what I judge all other coffee shops against. Their coffee blends are amazing – the Black Ops dark roast is what I like to start my day with. They have an almost infinite choice of flavors, even a huge selection of sugar free! Every barista is welcome to create their own concoctions and once they get customer approval it goes on the menu – you can enjoy everything from Red Velvet White Chocolate to Banana Pudding to an A Bomb. Can’t decide? Try our signature drink, the Madness or ask your barista to surprise you! If coffee isn’t your thing, grab a flavored tea or lemonade and sit for a while!
The best part of Black Smoke is the friendly, hometown atmosphere. You won’t feel like a stranger long once you walk through the door. Bring a book, your computer, or just stay a while to chat with everyone. Make sure you follow the shop on Facebook so you can keep up to date on events – everything from live music on the patio to NOFA (No One Fights Alone), their big fundraising event in November that helps out first responders and military that struggle with PTSD.
