Yesterday, I was so excited to book campground reservations for the second leg of our big trip this fall that I decided I would sort through all my gear. Organize everything, remove anything not needed, and replace anything that needed replacing. Sounds like an easy task, right? It was until …. yes, my brain started opening new windows and before I knew it, my closet was being emptied and reorganized, furniture was being moved around, my apartment looked like a tornado had just blown through! I stood looking around in dismay, my brain just spinning like that little wheel when it can’t load a program. Luckily, I have the perfect neighbor to call.

Thank you Helene for coming to my rescue. Helene is a retired interior designer. I called her and asked her to please help me figure out where all this furniture needed to go. She gladly came over and after a few suggestions, yes, you guessed it, she helped me move it all back right where it started from.

The wheel stopped spinning and my brain started closing those windows. Furniture in place, decorative items restored or in a new home, my organized closet would make anyone proud.

Oh course, by then, the day was over so today will be my camping gear sorting day. Looking around I don’t seeing anything to get sidetracked with…keep your fingers crossed!
