In this area of Georgia, finding a coffee shop open on Sunday is almost impossible. If you’re in McDonough though, head to Story on the Square after noon. The bookstore has a small business inside called Rough Draft. Selections are limited but you can get an espresso. Not interested in coffee? Good news. They have wine and beer too! We were able to take our mugs out to the porch to enjoy the beautiful day. Our server, Mandolin was the best! She was very informative and worked to create a brew that I would enjoy. She even made a couple trips out to the porch to be sure we didn’t need anything else. It was great place to spend a couple hours hanging out with a friend and chatting away.

You have to love a place filled with books and that even has a two-headed dragon! Let me know if you find any coffee shops in Georgia that are opened on Sunday – I’m always looking for a reason for a road trip.
